Beaches |
The beaches along the Peninsula are varied from seculed coves, small fishing villages to wide expanses. |
Beaches include Black Rock sands, Porthmadog, the scenic Porth Dinllean with the pub Ty Coch, Morfa Nefyn, Criccieth beaches with sand and pebbled areas close to facilities or the surfers beach "Porth Neigwl or Hells mouth. |

Castles |
In a country with relatively few great churches and abbeys the castles of Wales are the most imposing group of monuments from the middle ages. This excellent web site prepared by Adrian Pettifer is well worth visiting. |
